1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or using any services provided by JoltJunk (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

 

2. Our Services

JoltJunk offers professional junk removal services including but not limited to:

  • Household junk and appliance removal

  • Furniture and mattress disposal

  • Yard debris and garage cleanouts

  • Light demolition and hauling

  • Commercial and construction debris removal

All services are subject to availability and require proper scheduling.

 

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes provided online, over the phone, or in person are estimates and may change based on actual volume, weight, labor, or access conditions.

  • Final pricing is confirmed upon onsite inspection before the job begins.

  • Additional charges may apply for excessive labor, stairs, heavy items, or special disposal needs.

 

4. Customer Responsibilities

When scheduling a service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and honest information about the materials to be removed

  • Ensure clear access to the pickup area (driveway, garage, yard, etc.)

  • Secure pets and remove fragile or hazardous items from the workspace

  • Be present at the time of service or authorize someone on your behalf

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule if these conditions are not met.

 

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a $50 fee.

  • Missed appointments or access issues may be charged the full estimated cost.

 

6. Unacceptable Items

We do not remove or handle the following:

  • Hazardous waste (chemicals, paint, fuel, solvents)

  • Asbestos-containing materials

  • Biohazards or medical waste

  • Explosives or ammunition

  • Pressurized tanks (unless depressurized)

If prohibited items are discovered, we may refuse service and charge for travel or lost time.

 

7. Property Access & Liability

You authorize JoltJunk to access your property for the purpose of junk removal. We take care to avoid damage, but:

  • We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, weak structures, unpermitted access routes, or unsafe environments.

  • You waive claims for minor incidental damage unless caused by gross negligence.

  • You accept responsibility for informing us of any sensitive areas or instructions.

 

8. Disposal Practices

All materials we collect are sorted for recycling, donation, or proper disposal in accordance with local and state regulations. Usable items may be donated at our discretion.

 

9. Payments

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

  • We accept major credit/debit cards and other approved methods.

  • Failure to pay may result in collection actions and additional fees.

 

10. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use this website for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload our systems

  • Copy or republish content without permission

  • Submit false or misleading service requests

 

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including our logo, service descriptions, photos, and branding, is the property of JoltJunk. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, JoltJunk shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of use, profits, or data

  • Property damage not caused by negligence

  • Service delays due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen events

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the applicable service.

 

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JoltJunk, its employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or website, violation of these terms, or failure to disclose relevant property conditions.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue there.
